Client work and special custom projects
I work with a wonderful range of clients on so many exciting and diverse creative projects. I love bringing unique visions to life! Below, you can explore some of the fun endeavors I’ve been a part of and find inspiration for your own special requests.
Illustrations, Lettering,Vip Sketches, Place Cards, and Phrase Card design for Sulwhasoo’s Seoul Press Trip
I created personalized illustrations for each attendee of Sulwhasoo’s press trip, featuring a custom-designed border that incorporated Sulwhasoo products alongside playful, Seoul-inspired motifs. These illustrations served as a personalized keepsake that reflected the brand's heritage and the spirit of the trip.
Vip Sketches and place cards for Sulwhasoo Press Trip
Specialized motifs were designed with brand image, and trip theme in mind, in addition to brand guidance.
Hand lettered place cards for Sulwhasoo press trip: Each featured one of the special Seoul themed motifs I created. These cards were part of the table settings for each of the press dinners during the trip.
Seoul doodles, which were placed on itinerary page for Sulwhasoo press trip
As part of the Sulwhasoo press trip experience, I created a series of Seoul-inspired illustrations that were featured on the daily itinerary pages. Each illustration was thoughtfully designed to correspond with a specific stop on the trip, adding a personalized and artistic touch to the guests’ journey.
Seoul postcard, and Korean phrase card design for Sulwhasoo press trip
Each guest was given one of these cute postcards I designed, which was inspired by the Sulwhasoo Seoul flagship store; and a double sided Korean phrase card. The brand provided guidance on the phrases to include and the color, and I was responsible for hand lettering all of the text in Korean and English, the layout, and the design.
Live branded product customization for Sulwhasoo event in New York City
I was invited by Sulwhasoo to join their special workshop event at The Invisible Collection townhouse on New York City’s Upper East Side. During the event — hosted for press and beauty content creators — I created custom live illustrations on Sulwhasoo’s signature serum bottles.
In preparation, I collaborated with the brand’s marketing team to design a selection of custom, brand-relevant motifs that guests could choose from during the activation. Each bottle became a unique, hand-illustrated keepsake, blending artistry with Sulwhasoo’s luxurious skincare experience.
Custom hand painted Le Crueset dutch oven for Gigi Hadid x Maybelline
In celebration of Gigi Hadid’s 30th birthday this past April, Maybelline commissioned me to custom design and hand-paint a Le Creuset Dutch oven as a one-of-a-kind gift from the brand to Gigi. They provided inspiration images along with insight into Gigi’s favorite colors and personal interests, and I presented several design concepts for review.
After selecting their favorite concept, we collaborated closely throughout the approval process. The final artwork was applied using Pebeo Porcelaine 150 paints and paint markers — a fully oven-safe medium that ensures the piece is both beautiful and functional.
The finished Dutch oven features a vibrant, personalized design incorporating some of Gigi’s favorite things: pasta, photography, New York City, horses, sunflower yellow, and of course, Maybelline lipstick. The gift was shipped directly to her as a birthday surprise from her longtime brand partner.
Custom illustrations for the My Adesso health app and website
I created a series of illustrations featuring renowned New York cardiologist Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum and her MyAdesso character, “Heart Dog,” for use on the MyAdesso heart health app and website. The illustrations add a layer of fun and visual engagement, helping to keep users entertained and inspired as they move through the learning modules.
Each illustration was thoughtfully designed to pair with a specific module in the interactive app. The MyAdesso team provided inspiration and guidance on the themes for each section, and I presented a range of concept options to align with their vision and goals.
Custom illustrations for creative use at bridal showers
Bridal showers with custom illustrations printed on
I created a set of custom illustrations featuring a bride-to-be featuring her in some cute moments — baking, spending time with her dog, and with her fiancé. Then the client worked with a local baker to have the illustrations printed in edible ink on cupcakes for a bridal shower—how cool is that?!
This client was international and the event was taking place overseas, so I delivered the illustrations as digital files, and all coordination was done remotely.
The client who had the cupcakes made also had the same illustrations printed on note cards for guests to write messages for the bride-to-be.
Set of custom illustrations for a bride-to-be
Another international bridal shower client had my custom illustrations of the bride printed onto recipe cards and asked guests to handwrite their own recipes on the back to be turned into a cookbook for the bride.
Custom artwork for brands, media, publications, and print
Instagram Reel for MB3, featuring their line
I worked with MB3 to dress my runway character Nia in 4 of their outfits. The final illustration was turned into a social media reel.
Dress float for private client
I created a stylized ‘float’ illustration of a client’s design for use in their presentation.
The podcast and streaming studio at Hub 17 commissioned me to create a set of art prints to decorate a New York City themed backdrop for their recording set.
Custom art created for Steve K Music’s video game music album.
A video game music composer reached out to have me create a mood illustration for their digital streaming album. Collaborating with other creatives is always a rewarding experience, and for this project, I immersed myself in their music—listening to each game track on loop to translate the sound into a single, expressive visual. The final illustration was designed to capture the emotion and atmosphere of the music, bringing its mood to life in a way that resonated with listeners.
Renowned children’s fashion photographer David Butterman commissioned a custom illustration for the "About" page of his portfolio website.
Logo Illustration for Justyna Mateus Make Up Artist
Makeup artist Justyna Mateus commissioned a custom portrait illustration to complement her brand identity alongside her logo.
Book Cover for The Tenth Floor by John Espie
I was commissioned to create a cover illustration and cover design for a holiday-themed children’s story set in a fictional hotel in old New York City. To bring the character and setting to life, the author provided a mix of reference images, concept notes, and key story passages, which helped guide the visual development for the final artwork and design.
Illustration of Carl Clemons Hopkins in Hacks Premier Look for stylist Altorrin
I collaborated with celebrity stylist Altorrin to create a custom illustration of actor Carl Clemons-Hopkins, featuring one of the proposed looks for the Hacks premiere. Working from individual reference photos and detailed styling notes, I brought the envisioned outfit to life in the illustration. The final artwork was presented to the actor as part of the styling process.

Fashion Industry Illustration (woman at sewing machine) for Ashmi.US Web
I created an editorial illustration for Ashmi.US, a social news website, on the topic of the fashion industry. The artwork (seen above: woman at a sewing machine) visually highlighted themes of craftsmanship and labor within the industry.
I collaborated with Gabriella Dias—model, actress, and author of the inspiring autobiographical book Beyond Beauty: A Journey to Success—to create a series of chapter illustrations for each section of her book. Each illustration served as a visual gateway into the chapter, incorporating key themes and words, as well as Gabriella’s image in a fun and engaging way.
I was invited to contribute a chapter on fashion design portfolio development for the book So You Want To Be a Fashion Designer: Here’s the Info You Need. Alongside my written chapter, the book also features a selection of my fashion design portfolio illustrations, offering visual insight into the creative process for aspiring designers.
My illustrations were featured on the front and back covers of The International Fashionista’s Lookbook Diary, as well as throughout the book as fashion-themed coloring page inserts.
My Illustrations aired on TV in the US in a 2009 Burlington Coat Factory TV Commercial
I was hired to create a series of rough fashion sketches for use in a 2009 Burlington Coat Factory TV commercial. The sketches were part of the nationally aired ad campaign, which was broadcast multiple times across U.S. television.
This was an especially exciting project for me, as I was still a fashion design college student at the time. Seeing my work on screen was an amazing experience!
